Lafora Screening statistics for Spring 2018 - 98% of litters were "safe"
An analysis of the latest KC Breed Records Supplement shows that 98% of the registered Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund litters were "safe"; i.e. Lafora Screening by their breeders means puppies will not be "Affected".
Of the 42 litters registered in Spring 2018, only 1 was unsafe with neither parent tested for Lafora. The updated trend graph is shown below.
