Kennel Club Breed Watch Education Day 19/11/17

The 2017 Breed Watch Education Day is taking place on Sunday 19th November at the Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre, Bishop's Tachbrook, Leamington Spa CV33 9QJ.

In 2013, the Kennel Club developed a new programme of health education events for those involved in Breed Shows. Breed Watch Education Days enable attendees to learn about visible health concerns and how to identify them when judging. Attendees will be able to discuss questions with the speakers and display dogs will be used to illustrate how to locate and identify health and welfare concerns.

The morning session will involve a seminar on common skin problems in dogs which may play a role while judging them, provided by Dr Rosario Cerundolo (Dick White Referrals). The afternoon will involve a seminar on Breed Watch procedure updates by Bonnie Wiles (The Kennel Club), followed by a seminar on judging for eye health by Mr James Oliver (Dick White Referrals).

Tea, coffee and lunch are all included in the £25 ticket price.

If you would like to attend the Breed Watch Education Day, please book tickets here.
